You do not require to have your documents translated for the Saudi Bureau or Embassy in your country. The translations are only need for when you are doing your paperwork in the University.

When you get your Visa Number from the University you will have to process it on the website https://www.enjazit.com.sa. If you go to the embassy in London without getting your E number they will probably turn you away and tell you to go and get it.
A guide of how to get your E number can be found on the London Saudi Embassy website. http://portal.mofa.gov.sa/Detail.asp?InSectionID=6200&InNewsItemID=100852
Getting your E number will cost $10.50 USD.
Using the enjazit website is difficult because the uploading of the passport size photo is very problematic. You will have to fiddle around with the photo settings by making it smaller, maybe by making it black and white, you may even have to use different computers.

The new British students of the Islamic University of Madinah received their flight tickets several days ago from the University’s Admissions Website ( admissions.iu.edu.sa ) and their visa numbers were published on the same site this morning (Saturday 15th January 2012).
The problem has arisen that the British students’ tickets are booked for Sunday the 16th of January 2012 and the visas can not be issued before that because the Saudi Embassy in London does not open until Monday 17th of January. One students father has found out that the rebooking of the tickets will cost almost the same price as a new ticket on a different airline.
I will contact the admissions department and ask them what can be done to rectify this.
Last year the same thing happened and the majority of the newly accepted students had to book and pay for their own tickets.
It is advised that if you live in London to go to the Saudi embassy on Monday, and if you do please post a blog on the ‘New UK Students’ Blog’ explaining how you got on.
Please could all the new students from Britain send me a short email detailing their current situation relating to their coming to Madinah.

This blog page has been set up for the Brits who have recently been accepted to the Islamic University of Madinah. Most of these students will be currently organising their paperwork and processing their visas.
If you wish to discuss your paperwork processing issues with other newly accepted students, or you have some useful advise why not post a comment.
It is hoped that this blog will help the new British students meet their new classmates.
