The Islamic University of Al-Madinah Al-Manawarah is considered by many as the Islamic university equivalent of Oxford or Yale University.

The Islamic University of Al-Madinah Al-Manawarah was opened almost sixty years ago.  It has tens of thousands of graduates, and currently has approximately 12,000 students, most of whom are from outside Saudi Arabia.

The syllabus and education of the University are based upon the The Quran & the Authentic Sunnah upon the manner the Sahabah understood them.

In the last ten years the university opened medical and engineering collages.

The University is Located in the city of Al-Madinah Al-Manawarah in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and it is only three miles away from The Prophet's (S.A.W) Mosque.
